Okay, so I'm very new to all this information seeing as how I'm starting to gain interest in investing. I have a few baby questions, don't laugh at me for asking these haha.

1. What's a '1031'?

2. What does 'ROE' stand for?

3. What does 'COC' stand for?

Thanks in advance! Trying to understand the investor lingo as I go.

Hello BP family,

I'm a novice REI in Houston, TX looking to gain more knowledge than anything. I read through some of the posts and they're awesome. I'm a super newbie simply because I'm 24 and I have no experience in real estate or homeownership. I was wondering if anyone had any tangible advice to help me feel more prepared when I do finally find a potential deal. I don't want to find one and not be prepared and professional. Don't hold back!
