Hello all,

I'm a newbie in the Houston, TX area looking to practice deal analysis so I can be a service not only to myself when I start investing but to someone else that's willing to teach in exchange. I don't even know where to start to analyze a deal. For all the experienced investors, where would you start? On the MLS, on Craigslist, etc. I want to be able to determine what's a good deal whenever I come across a property. If my question is too broad, I hope you guys can guide me through. Thanks in advance ladies and gents!

I'm from the Houston area but I'll be at church for this event! I really wish I knew about this ahead of time! Will there be another meeting, perhaps on a another day? I'm really looking to connect with other investors.

Hello BP, I'm looking for as much exposure as I can to real estate investing. I've been interested for years and I just can't seem to get one foot in front of the other. Looking for mentors to WORK under in exchange for knowledge and opportunities. Thank you all in advance!

I'm currently writing letters for all my driving for dollars properties. I come across a prospect with MILLIONS of dollars worth of prime real estate. The property I'm gunning for is in horrible condition, but its in one of the best neighborhoods in town. Should I reach out to him and inquire about purchasing his craptastic property that's worth a ton or just save my stamps for someone else more likely to sell?

As a wholesaler trying to start off the right way, I hear so may negatives about wholesalers. To clarify what qualities an investor looks for in a wholesaler, I feel it would be safe to under promise and over deliver, wouldn't it? We're dealing with thousands of dollars at any given transaction, I don't take stuff like that lightly. Someone help a noob out, school me haha.

As a wholesaler, this is something I can definitely learn from as well, good luck with project!

I receive these lists from my mom all the time and I have no idea how to utilize these if possible. I'm new to investing and like to learn as I go. Seeing as how I have BP on my side, maybe you lovely people could help me out as to what my options are with this list. Let me know if I'm sitting on leads or wasting my time haha. Thanks in advance!
