There are areas around Cincinnati that various groups are working on cleaning up and renovating.  There are two groups here that I have heard about from people who invest IN the city and have had good luck with.  They are

I'm new to the business too, and have been doing the same as you as far as reading books and listening to the podcast.  The fact that I work 2nd shift in the rat race limits what meeting I can go to and whatnot.  I'm planning on investing on the East-side of Cincinnati, primarily around Batavia and Milford.  What part of the city are you from?
