@Trevor Moulton welcome! As previously stated by Dylan Mejo, Glens Falls is a great place to start. Usually a reasonable buy in and pretty strong rent, the biggest downfall I see is the very high taxes. The outskirts of Saratoga are affordable and usually demand the same if not higher rents than Glens Falls with drastically less taxes.

I use an agent who has been in the Saratoga market for over ten years. He helped me buy my first house and is always willing to go the extra mile to get me info on rental units, fix and flips etc. Always answers his phone and is one of the most honest guys you’ll meet. PM me so I can get you his contact info

@Dylan Mejo

This is the only one I’ve come across recently that appears to be off market.

@Dylan Mejo

I’ll have to give Trustco a call. I’ve only used HRCCU for personal products, but yes they don’t seem too open minded about investing. Adirondack Trust has given me similar results. I’ve heard of a company called Ridge Lending Group through different podcasts.

@Dylan Mejo I’m assuming you’ve looked into Hudson River credit union? I’ve called numerous banks/credit unions over the years for various things and more times than not they’re the one who seems to pull through

@Michael Fitts welcome aboard! As you know Saratoga is very expensive, but once you get a couple miles off Broadway it’s much more affordable and can still demand high rents!

What are the local investors seeing for their average expenses per door in the Chattanooga market on turn key properties? My wife and I are out of state investors.

@Basit Siddiqi

Basit,

Currently I’m meeting with a CPA in NY to gather all the info I’ll need on NY’s end to run a business/purchase in another state. I plan on doing the same when I’m in Alabama.
