Does anyone know of any meetups in central NJ ? Maybe zoom meetups because of Covid 19?

I’m a new investor and I’m thinking about waiting to purchase my first property at least 6 months to a year as the current market is a little tough. I’m looking to house hack and haven’t seen any multi family in central NJ that makes sense or in areas close to the train station for my NY commute

I'm new to REI and BP. Quick question does getting a preapproved from a lender cause a short or hard pull on credit?

Also if I’m not looking to buy until 6 months- 1 year when should I apply for the preapproval amount ?

I am a new investor and also new to BP. I currently moved to central NJ a couple of years ago and wanted to know if anyone has experience with buying and holding in the area? How are the cash flows? Is it worth investing in the area ?
