Hi @Chris Seveney!

I'm 100% going to do that. I was just seeing if someone on here could provide a quick answer today. But again, absolutely going to give them a call tomorrow.

Hello All!

I haven't been able to find a clear and concise explanation; so I'm hoping those with an NFCU HELOC could explain. I understand that the payments on Navy Federal fixed and/or variable rates HELOCs are $100 or 1% (whichever is greater) of the HELOC balance. However, does this include interest?

For example, if I had a variable rate HELOC with interest at 7.5%; and if I pull 50k to use; would be payment then be $500.00 + interest on the $50,000? (interest would be around $318)

I feel like my math is off here. The payment wouldn't be $818 dollars correct?

I agree with @Russell Brazil there. I've ran into that problem here in the DMV area.

@Nicholas Gorgone My wife and I have run into the same problem. @Justin Lanciault helped my wife and I find multiple properties where there are separate dwellings either on the side of the house or in the basement like he mentioned. Those are the cards MoCo and PG county are delt; we have to play their game for now.

Hi @Jin Hwang Good luck on your journey!

@Mike Shahi Thats what I hear. Does that make a property in that area unrentable? Or maybe we'd only be able to rent to students of UMD and not so much families since the school system sucks? Thoughts?

@Mark Cruse yea! That’s what I’m hearing and the purple line coming too!

@Shadonna N. PG county has a lot of house Jack opportunities in the price range from 300-400k. Where I’m at now there are some, but usually need some rehab or they are on the market for a short time
