Hi Jon,

I don't know of one, but could use one occasionally in the same area. Let me know if you find one!

@Matt Lefebvre

Matt,

I must say that I am very impressed with your planning and thoughtfulness. I am sure that you will be successful at whatever you put your effort towards.

I do feel that college degrees are worthwhile for many reasons. It helps you learn to work with people (biggest life skill), learn to learn (take knowledge from books and classes and show that you retained the knowledge), and show that you have the commitment to finish a difficult task (graduation).

With all of that said, I don't think you mentioned what type of real estate investor you plan to be. What area do you plan to focus? Rental investors need money to buy houses, so you will need money from somewhere. Wholesaling is a different ballgame that you can start with less money. Real estate agent is more like a job, but another great way to get started.

Best of luck!

Hello BP Friends,

I have found a vacant house that would make a great rental. From the assessors site I was able to get the owner's address, but not their name. Anyone have any tips on how to find their name?

Thanks!!

Hello Everyone,

I am currently searching for my 5th rental house and the bank I have been using states that I will need to put 25% down instead of 20% that I put down on the first 4. Is this something that is standard or are there banks that will take 20% on houses 5 and up?

Thanks!

Thanks for the other book recommendations everyone. I have read Flip and it was pretty good, so I will have to check out Hold. Shift also sounds pretty good too.
