Post: Water Bills

Hello Everyone,

I am currently in the process of acquiring rental #4 and have been wondering about how everyone is handling water bills in single family homes. Do you pay the bill or does your tenant? If you do, do you include it in the rent or have them pay separately?

In my other rentals right now I pay the water bill, since I believe the city can put a lien on your house if the bill isn't paid.

Thanks,

Brad

Welcome @Ken McLaughlin !!!

You are right, Michigan is a great rental state right now (from the landlord's perspective). I get calls and emails very quickly for my rentals. Learn more on this site and go get yourself some profitable rentals!

Best of luck!

Thanks!

Mine was to work the Dave Ramsey budget and debt snowball plan. This helped me and my wife pay off all of our stupid debt (credit cards, cars, etc). This helped get us on the same page with money and now we have extra cashflow to put towards real estate.

Hi Everyone, Do any of you have experience with section 8 in Michigan? If so, where do I find out how much rent I can charge? Also, how do I sign up? I have searched, but haven't been able to find this info yet. Thanks!

Matthew Petrovski Sorry that is too far away from where I live. Let me know if you find anything in Oakland County. Thanks, Brad
