Contact your state's CPA association/society. they have listed members by area and specialties. in Texas they may local associations such as for Houston, Dallas, etc. Then check with the state board of accountancy for their standing, complaints etc.

In Salt Lake house are high in comparison to rents. You won't get your 1% more in the range of 0.5% to 0.6%.
