If the numbers make sense, I will buy the duplex and honor the remainder of the lease.

I have been itching to pull the trigger on my first property for like 2 years now. I just don't want to make a decision in haste. I have been reading the blogs, and watching the podcast but I want to finally put something in motion.

I was considering getting my RE sales license to give me some more insight into the business. I currently work a full-time job in the IT field near Dearborn, MI.

I was also considering upgrading to a new home and turning my current home into a rental. I have a VA loan on my home which we purchased in 2015.

I would benefit from any guidance and or suggestions that anyone here may have.

I am looking to purchase my first rental/flip and wanted to get some lender referrals not provided by my real estate agent. I have excellent credit [ that's what credit karma say at least :-) ], and used a VA loan to purchase my primary residence almost 2 years ago. Just switched jobs and have a 401k I was considering rolling into a self directed IRA for investment purposes.

I am really looking for good recommendations on both lenders and contractors in the area, I am ready to make things happen just need to put together an all star team.
