Its really going to come down to a basement specialist's opinion as a few others said. Some small cracks could be common others could be major. Basement dampness and some cracking in general is common is the majority of Ohio so just get either a good GC or basement guy in there to check it out @Bruce Steinetz

The easiest way to think about it/ find one is how you can provide value to someone in a position you would like to be in. Attend real estate meet ups and connect with others in a more experienced position. This could be doing some time of admin work, cold calling etc... @Nevena Hercegovac

What part of Columbus? You will need to get it zoned but some of the areas are in historical districts for the metro area at least so just be aware of that. @Cory Linstrum

As some have said, if its possible to buy where you are local then that is always the best option but if not then there are plenty of options in the midwest to start the search @Masood Amin

I have bought in North Franklinton and also pretty bullish on the area. North and Central are decent that are west of 315 but agree that the South part is a bit rougher @David B.

There are a good amount of markets in OH where where the cost of listing is very affordable and also many of the major cities do have a large hospital system so shouldn't be too difficult to find a MF near those areas @Abi Horton

There a good amount of agents who cover Lancaster, shouldn't be too hard to find a good one! @Jonathan Beaumont
