Cleveland is more cashflow heavy whereas Columbus is more of a cashflow and appreciation mix but will be more expensive overall @Oby Nwonye

Identifying an investing strategy will be a good start. From there you will most likely talk to a lender/ realtor and see what you can afford @Gerald Cameron

There area lot a lot of options in the midwest and here in Ohio but curious as to what you mean by worst cashflow. The least will be in the most expensive markets vs the cheapest markets to invest in. Each city has its own areas that are more expensive that won't cash flows its its just important to talk to someone local @Dominic Pizzi

From my experience, if you have to rearrange any of the layout that will add up more costs. As some said, costs can vary across the board to best to get a quote from a few GC's @Pete Milenkovich

Even in a more expensive market like Seattle, if its feasible it's always better to buy locally. You can get pre-approved even before you start your job and house hack. Thats how I got started here in Columbus. @Ryan Lam

As @Jordan Fiore said it is best to check the auditors and try and prepare for it but LLC transfers are definitely a short-term solution @Jimmy Lieuim
