@David Patrick. You may be wondering why you have not received very many responses from agents. HUD Homestore homes are very labor intensive for agents without a lot of return on the invested time. Investors that prefer HUD property deals need to work very closely with their agent. Using a team approach with your agent may motivate him/her to work with you. Be sure to have your funding sources in place before approaching an agent. They prefer to work with serious Buyers. We have a NAID number and work with primarily serious investors interested in buying or selling. I would be happy to offer more detail if you are interested.

@Alex Zuroff,

That is a smart move.  Pay close attention to very specific fines for offenses of any kind.  That level of detailed study will help.  Wishing you much success.

Hi @Alex Zuroff,

Congratulations on enrolling in the pre-license course. My suggestion would be to talk to a local broker that you are considering hanging your license with and ask him/her what areas of the course material may carry a greater importance in your state.  License law and associated penalties are important in the state of Georgia.  It may be similar CA as well.

Hi@Ugwu Uche,

Congratulations on making the decision on becoming an active RE agent!  As you interview with various real estate brokers, you will probably be asked the following questions: 1) Your reasons for choosing a RE career, 2) Any roadblocks you have to overcome in your day to day life and what are your solutions to those challenges, 3) Do you plan to focus on buyers, sellers, property management or some variation on those areas, 4) Your business experience and related skills and your plan for success.  This is a sampling of questions that I ask agents that are interested in joining Blue Peach Realty.  Take the time to be prepared for the interview and you will certainly have a more successful session.  If you have more questions, connect with me at your earliest convenience.

Mitch,

I appreciate the referral of Kadeem Wells.  Your kind words mean a lot to me.   Kadeem reached out to me already.  I am hopeful that we can meet to discuss his goals as a real estate agent very soon.

All the best!

Marta

Paul, Relationships are everything in this business. You want to establish yourself as easy to business with and an asset a person feels comfortable with and available for them. People work with people they like. This is true for a new agent working with a broker or an agent working with customers and clients. Yes the classes and tests are required by individual states but real estate is a bunch of varied area you can focus in. Find your niche. I'm sure you will be successful. Best wishes.
