Between 20-50 units, B class area. My strategy is the BRRRR so not looking for turnkey or 80% rehabbed. Preferably outdated, 80% vacant, garden style(not mandatory but preferred). This is a general idea of what im looking for. Do you invest in this market David Veeder??

Hey, I am an out of state investor and looking to start a portfolio of mid sized apartments in the Dallas surrounding area.  Any insights or connections, would love to meet up and start building a team.

@Tyler Purser Hey! I am from Estevan but I currently invest in Regina. There is bad news around “The Oil Patch” and Saskpower has been decommissioning boilers. But everything runs in cycles and oil exports in Sask are close to their all time highs of 2014, with oil exceeding 80$/barrel ( which is really good ) and it’s expected to keep rising back above $100. I’m not a fortune teller though and I personally invest in Regina myself. There was a lot of new-build apartments in the last boom that are sitting vacant right now so be aware of that. I know the coal mine was looking bleak for awhile but my father is a senior foreman and said they are so far behind on coal deliveries so it’s hard to say honestly. But if you have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask

I haven’t really looked into mobile home parks before but one WITH a LAGOON came across my desk and I’m not sure what I should be looking out for when evaluating. Any advice on what kinds of bills to be expecting? I live in Canada as well so freezing could be an issue. Thanks in advance!

@Tuan Nguyen

Hey! My name is Blaze, and I could refer you to a very knowledgeable mortgage broker who deals with multifamily investing. I personally invest in Regina and am also looking into 8+ unit apartments but currently have nothing in the pipeline. I know of some people who have current deals and can connect you. Just shoot me a DM

Hey Nick,

Of course we can connect.  I’d like to hear more about what your looking for and how I can help.  PM me if your more comfortable with that or you can reply on this thread and maybe some others following this have some input or could help as well. There is good cash flow in Saskatchewan for sure with way more reasonably priced housing.  Look forward to hearing from you!

Hey so I’m buying my first property using cash. The seller wants to use his lawyer. Is there any extra due diligence I should be doing? Should I have my lawyer check over the documents as well? It’s a quick sale so he needs it moved ASAP. I’m in Regina Saskatchewan. Any insight helps.
