Hey Ranjeet,

I’m also a newbie in Regina trying to snag my first deal.  Wouldn’t mind connecting and seeing what angles your looking at and maybe we could compare notes or something.  Don’t hesitate to reach out to me at anytime

Hey everyone,

so I’m brand new and ready to pull the trigger. I’m finding a lot of unfinished/partially finished basements with potential to add a bed & bath. That’s my potential value add along with the typical kitchen bath Reno upstairs. Was wondering if I need to pull permits to finish basements or add bedrooms? I want to run the numbers right if it would cost me xtra holding time and extra pricing.

I’m up in Saskatchewan Canada if that helps.

Thanks in advance, this site is the best!

Hey to everyone commenting on this thread! Glad to see so many locals involved in this and willing to reach out. If possible I would like to join in on this zoom meeting and I’m sure others wouldn’t mind as well. If you pick a time I’m sure I could make it work to be a part of it.

Hey Santi Anso,

I have been looking at properties up there but am not confident of my knowledge in the areas yet to ensure I have deal. That’s great to hear though and gives me confidence.

Hey everyone,

Born and raised in Saskatchewan and have been searching deals in the two major cities. May have my first deal lined up.

Wanting to connect with other investors or even wholesalers to look at off-market deals. Give me a shout if your in the area and want to connect.

Thanks!!

What kinds of questions should I ask a real estate agent in a new city to find out if they are investor “savvy”? I’m new to the investor world.
