Hi James, I would suggest taking a look at Podio as well.  It's hard to beat the flexibility of Podio, although it does require some time & effort to set it up.

I'd suggest using a CRM that has task management, rather than having a separate (and not-integrated) task management system.  Podio and Zoho CRM are good, cost-effective options (I do Podio implementations and have dabbled with Zoho).

I am not against Podio. All I am saying is that I understand where you are coming from at right now. Everyone gets to the point where they want to do things that aren't possbible with Podio. Podio is nice because it is expandable but it has it's limits. Yes, I used Podio for 18 months and I am a Podio Authorized partner. I recommended it but only if you want something inexpensive and simple. I have used Podio, Freedomsoft, Realeflow, Reifax and a couple of others. I had the same problems over and over.

The problem that you see most often (besides not doing all the thing you need it to do) is you have to integrate with third party tools. In my opinion this defeats the purpose of having one software to do everything. It's not seamless.. For example you need websites and squeeze pages, generate and manage contracts, have call tracking numbers and analytics, texting, broadcast texting, direct to voicemail, manage bird dogs, and a lot more.. Podio doesn't do any of these things and that was my point.

Podio requires Globiflow for advanced actions, plus you need call rail, sly broadcast, and tons of other 3rd party integrations which means you are always dealing with and managing multiple softwares and tools. The more complex system you set up the more problems you will have doing it this way. Especially if you decide to change something. Most people aren't that sophisticated when it come to tech, and they stop using it. In addition any one of those companies can make changes that affect your entire system. Globiflow is a perfect example.

I got frustrated created my own CRM that fixes these problems but I am only using it personally in my own market.  The CRM is always under development becasue I keep adding new functionality and it's not for sale. I am not promoting it here either, but just pointing out potential problems and what you should look for in a good CRM. Good Luck!

Note that products like Investorfuse have been created to address some of the challenges of "DIY Podio"

Investorfuse is essentially turn-key Podio for REIs, and they offer both a Monthly Plan and a Yearly Plan

For example, with Investorfuse you can do the things that Globiflow provides for Podio, but you are shielded from the complexities of Globiflow

Note that real estate investors can get started with Podio for $33/month (1 Podio "Premium" user license for $24/month) and then a Globiflow account for $9/month).  I've found that once things are fully built out, most businesses end up with the $120/month plan (purchased from Podio) to get unlimited Globiflow access.  And if you pay for an annual Podio contract the cost is actually $96/month.

Salesforce, Podio, and Zoho are the ones I see most often.

Great to see this use case with Airtable.  It's a product I've been following closely and one that I believe could have a bright future.  That being said, I still see Podio being pretty far ahead of Airtable for DIY Real Estate software--at least right now.  I'm hopeful that Airtable will continue to improve its product rapidly and create a good alternative to Podio.

Hi James - Yes, this is definitely possible with the Globiflow extension for Podio and a third-party form (like Jotform) that supports webhooks.  Here's one example: http://www.globiflow.com/blog/implementing-a-payme...

I did a quick google search on Cozy and they don't seem to be webhook/developer friendly (it's also not supported by Zapier) so at first glance this doesn't look like a promising option.
