@Yonah Weiss I am currently working on a BSBA in Marketing, with a minor in Economics. I also am planning on starting a combined Masters of Science in Marketing degree, with focuses in real estate and entrepreneurship in the Spring. I believe a background in business administration in general has a positive impact on any aspiring real estate professional because it helps you learn the world of business, especially some of the boring things that you may not want to learn outside of a scheduled curriculum. I personally hope to use the specialized marketing background to enhance my real estate sales career.

@Daniel Smithson Thank you so much! That was a very thorough response and answered some questions I didn’t even get the chance to ask. I appreciate it a lot!

Hey guys! So I’ve been interested in MHP investing for quite some time now, and in the light of everything going on, they seem to prove even tougher as an asset class than ever before (in a good way), with massive loads of people losing their jobs and searching for bottom-line affordable housing.

So with that being said, if you’d be willing, I’d be interested to hear how others got started in the business. Details of the first deal, successes, failures, etc. Feel free to share whatever you’d like!

Thanks guys!

@Malgorzata Sadowska Thanks so much! I totally agree and I’ll also be starting my sales career in Gainesville, so any other markets would be at least 2 years ahead. Would you mind if I shot you a PM with some questions?

And as always, go Gators!!

Hey guys! My name is Ben Morand and I am a 20 year old college student at the University of Florida. So I am taking my licensing exam in August and I am just curious about different aspects of the industry.

This question is more so out of pure curiosity and inspiration for right now, as I do not live in Miami and I am also just getting started, but basically I am wondering: how difficult is it to work with a luxury real estate firm in Miami such as Nest Seekers or ONE Sotheby’s? What do they look for in agents and is there any set criteria for agents to meet when joining the firm (or even better, a strong team in the firm)?

Thanks guys!
