@Jessica Tsao I grew up in Brownsburg (1980's-2004) and currently reside here as well in a new build neighborhood.  The town is unrecognizable now vs when I was a kid here.  Not in a bad way, just crazy population growth.  A ton of money has been reinvested in the downtown area with a lot of new mixed used and more to come.  The town is wanting to be the Carmel of the west side.  The schools are some of the best in the state, its very safe, and its only 8 miles outside of Indy so jobs are plentiful. If you want to know anything more specific feel free to reach out directly.

Hey BP,

I am looking for recommendations for investor friendly banks in SC - currently getting a house under contract in the Myrtle Beach / Loris area.  Also looking to see if any banks have an as rehabbed appraisal program.

@Scott Canosa good points Scott - do you have any pointers on how to check daily Airbnb rates? Is it a simple as just going on to Airbnb website and looking for similar properties around or is there more concrete data available?

@Alexander Knowles. Thanks for the advice! I had those same thoughts about the Airbnb proximity. Do you know what the market is like for flips in that area?

The market around Indy is crazy right now, With very low inventory and houses getting 30 offers over asking in a few days, Do you see similar things in that area?

SC investors, I am an investor from Indianapolis and received a lead on an off market property in Loris, SC.  This is not my market and know next to nothing of the area other than the house is about 20 mins from North Myrtle Beach.

Can anyone shed any light on the market in this area?  are there opportunities for Airbnb this far from the beach?  Any and all thoughts are welcome!

The house is an older 3100 SF 2 story farmhouse on 3.5 acres.

I would try attending your local REIA and network with local wholsalers to get some off market properties. You could also look at investing OOS as other markets might be a better fit.

Ascend Roofing is fantastic in the residential shingle realm.  For commercial roofing around indy I would highly recommend Seamless Roofing.

Not in MD/VA/DC/FL but used them with a personal home VA Loan in Indiana. They were great to work with and I would use them again.
