@Sandeep Singh I'm in a similar boat, maybe a year ahead of you. Have rentals but wanted to get into flips and possibly wholesaling, and eventually larger multi-family. I just passed the Ohio exam Tuesday and plan to leverage the license for myself first. I never really envisioned being an agent for others, but the more I get into it the more I realize that may be the perfect way to help replace my current w2 income faster.

@Sylvain Vargas I've compiled a helpful list of Property Management companies in Cleveland that you may want to reference. Check out the article here: Big List of Cleveland Property Management Companies

I only have direct experience with a handful of them. But if you let me know the ones you're looking into, message me and I'll be happy to share any experience or background info I may have. As my portfolio is growing, I'm going to need to hire someone myself soon!

This group helps real estate investors who aspire to transition from part-time to full-time real estate investing. If your full time job today is getting in the way of your real estate dreams of tomorrow, this group is for you! We'll try to meet before work, at lunch, or after traditional business hours so you don't need to make up stories for your boss :)

@Lisa Rodriguez Baylis do you already have a property that needs an inspection or work done? If so, additional details may help others to provide relevant recommendations. Or are you simply looking to make initial connections from a networking perspective now?

@Ester Ramirez I put together a list of local property management companies to make research a little easier. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Big List of Cleveland Property Management Companies

I'm currently self-managing but have gathered background info and some reviews from a number of the companies. I don't have information ready to publish, but I'm happy to share info with you if you want to let me know which ones you're considering.

Thanks, @George W. Despite being really annoying, I guess that's a good enough reason to let them inspect.

I just acquired a house for cash in the city of Cleveland. I've owned it for about 30 days and today I got a hang tag on the door saying the plumbing inspector was here to inspect the water heater. I called the city and was told he is there to do a post-install inspection for the water heater that was installed in 2014!  WTH?

I don't have any concerns that he'll find any issues with it, but I'd rather not be bothered with it at this point. Anyone know if there's any type of statue of limitations on these, do I need to let him inspect, are these inspectors known for just finding issues to find issues?

Thanks.
