Hi All,

I'm looking to buy a townhouse and its directly from the owner. I know there are ways to do owner financing and other creative financing techniques so just wanted to see what the best way to approach it would be and the most likely of making it happen. Thanks!

Hi All, Kind of a rookie question but wanted to make sure I'm going about things the right way and starting good practices. I'm in the process of checking out a promising property for my first buy but have a question about using agents. There is a listed agent who I wanted to contact to see the property but also have an agent who I want to use but isn't in town at the moment. Would it be wrong or give the wrong impression for me to ask the sellers agent to show and then bring my agent next week when they're around? Or should I wait and have my own agent arrange to see the property (it's also a friend so they're going to help be an extra set of eyes on the investment also). Thanks!

Hi All! I've been a big fan of Bigger Pockets and finally decided to get involved with the community. I recently moved from New York to Jacksonville, FL and figured there's no better time to get my feet wet in the real estate world than right now. I'm an accountant by trade and am really enjoying the constant challenge of learning. It seems like the market is really hot right now down here so I'm still getting a feeling for what a good deal looks like down here. I'm looking to utilize my FHA loan for a duplex and go the house hacking route but also would be open to a condo in the 150k-200k range. Feel free to reach out and am looking forward to meeting some great people!
