I used Alan Davis once. He was very thorough and easy to work with. Not cheap but did a great job.
Hi Major. Have you spoken with Amerifirst? They're the only 203 lender I could find in Louisville. Can't remember the guy's name but he seemed nice enough. http://www.amerifirst.com/kentucky

River City is a very popular one. Forcht Bank seems to have better rates, though.

Hey, thanks everyone for the warm welcome! @Clay Smith I was going to go to the KREIA meeting last week, but it was "Shark Tank" week and I didn't want to pay $25 for my first meeting. I didn't know they had a newsletter. I love the suggestion! @Michael Seeker the property we're looking at is in New Albany. Looked like a good buy in a decent neighborhood.

Hello, everyone! I'm so glad I found this site! The information has been very, very helpful! I'm an aspiring REI in Louisville. My wife and I are in the process of purchasing our first property -- a quadplex. We're very excited to begin and a little nervous! I'm looking forward to meeting other members in my area. Thanks for the warm reception!
