@Zachary Stephens hey Zachary! I’m an investor friendly Realtor in central Maine. I’ve been a bigger pockets fan for 3 years now. I started exactly where you are. If you’d like to chat about anything real estate related, I’m a local connection! 🙌🏼

Hi! I am just a few weeks out from a real estate salesperson license in Maine. Does anybody have any recommendations on brokerages? I’ve interviewed with a few already, there was one that stuck out to me. But I’d love the advice of locals and professionals who have experienced working in real estate here in Maine. Also, if you have any advice (dos/don’ts) for newbie real estate agents, Id love to hear it! Send me a message! :)

@Brian Pulaski yeah you’re all very right! I guess I got in over my head. It’s just weird because the house is vacant and it is very torn up. But maybe it’s a way for them to find wholesalers who knows. Thanks for your replies!

I have a potential seller for an awesome wholesaling opportunity and it does happen to be my first. The home will need an extensive exterior rehab and I still have to go take a look at the interior tomorrow at 11am. After a little research, I found out that the owners of the home happen to be an active Realtor and a mortgage broker. They also hold frequent flipping seminars to locals. They said they will entertain any offer but it must be significant. Are these red flags or should I still send an offer any way? Is there anything I should be aware of in this kind of situation?

@Anson Young Love it, thank you! We are currently getting all of our lists from bandit signs and Df$. We are still compiling a buyers list but we have about half the amount of those as we do sellers. Is that a decent ratio to start or should we grow a stronger buyers list before working with a seller? From reading forums, joining Facebook groups and marketplace searches it does not seem too difficult to find interested investors if the numbers make sense.
