Hi!

I currently am building my team and I am looking for a contractor to remodel my kitchen. If anyone could recommend me someone who is reliable and does good work that would be great! Thank you!

I currently own my first rental unit and it is a duplex which I am house hacking! I am almost prepared to rent out the upstairs unit but unfortunately I am having electrical issues with the hallway and bathroom light. Are there any electricians anyone in South Jersey could recommend to me? Thank you!

I have a duplex in south jersey that I am currently house hacking. The backyard is completely entrenched in ivy and getting rid of it would add a tremendous amount of value. Does anyone know any landscapers that they could put in in contact with? Thank you!

Originally I tried to do the work myself but I realized that my time can be more utilized towards finding the next deal instead of working everyday myself in the yard.

I plan on putting carpet in the upstairs unit of a up & down duplex. I am worried about the noise level because you can hear everything that happens in the upstairs unit if you are downstairs. Is there any type of acoustic padding that I can put underneath the carpet to better help with the noise?

I currently own a up and down duplex and am house hacking it. I live in the downstairs unit because it needs more renovations and I am treating it as a live and flip. The upstairs unit has hardwood flooring and you can hear when someone is walking around. Does anyone know of anything I can do to help sound proof the floors? Thank you!

I recently just closed on my first investment property it is a up and down duplex! Unfortunately, I can hear when someone is walking around upstairs. The flooring in the upstairs unit is original hardwood and if I can avoid replacing the floors that would be great. I was wondering if anyone in the bigger pockets community could advise me on if there is a type of sound proof mat, carpet etc. that I can buy to lay on top of the hardwood in the living room and the bedrooms in the upstairs unit to minimize the sound. Thank you for any help!

I am currently 24 years old and am under contract for my first house hack! It is a up and down duplex both units are 2 bed 1 bath. I would love any advice from people who have house hacked before about what they wish they had done and what they wouldn’t do again. I plan on house hacking a new property every year for the next 5 years in order to accelerate my portfolio while also acquiring other properties in between. Any advice would be amazing!

I just secured my first house hack! I am currently in the process of deciding what property management software to use. As of right now i am deciding whether or not to use RentRedi but I noticed that RentPrep has a more thorough tenant screening process. I am wondering if anyone would be able to guide me on the best software to use and or if there are any others out there.

Ideally I want the best property management application to streamline the process of being a landlord but also want a in depth tenant screening. For my for rental property/house hack i want to make sure that I do everything right. Thank you!

@Steve Vaughan

I have an agent. I tried to put that language in the original contract but then the seller said “we need something concrete, before we move forward”
