Hey Biggerpockets!

I recently passed my Texas real estate exam.  I'm looking for a sponsoring broker in the Fort Bend area (Sugar Land, Richmond/Rosenberg, Katy, Missouri City, Stafford and Fulshear).

Thanks,

Austin

Hey BPers,

Hey BP,

Can someone recommend a property management company in Houston that deals with singe family homes. I have a SFH property in Cypress area and will be closing on another in Katy at the end of the month.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks

Austin

Hey @Lynn Bergin

Welcome to the site!

When tagging someone in your posts, use the @ symbol and type the first few letters of the persons name.  At the bottom of "Post a Reply" that persons name will pop up.

I'm in the beginning stages of wholesaling myself.

Good Luck

@Larry Hatten I haven't finished the book yet but I would recommend it to someone that's just getting started in wholesaling.  I think it will give you a general idea of the ins and outs of wholesaling.

Good luck

Post: Does anyone use an answering service?

Hey BPers,

I'm creating flyers for my first marketing strategy in Houston.  I had the idea of having a google # on the flyer that links to my cell phone and my office #.  However my private investor doesn't want me answering any of the potential calls I'd be receiving from these flyers but instead wants me to use an answering service.  Is this a good idea?  Does anybody else have experience with using an answering service? From reading the forums and listening to the podcasts, I'm under the impression that I should be answering these calls.  I'll be the one going to the sellers house and negotiating with them if a call does turn into a lead.  Wouldn't a motivated seller feel more comfortable letting me into their home if its me that they initially talked to?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Austin
