Quote from @Christopher Hardisty:

We have a project in the Hudson Valley where we own the lots valued at around $700k and have $400k to put towards the construction. We are seeking 800K for 1 year. We are well established company with several years experience in building, construction, renovation etc. We just have must of our funds tied up in a few projects that have projected closing dates of greater than a few months away. We have seen 12% with 4pts looking for something more attractive. Property is owned in an LLC. Proposed project is 3 single family homes already approved with city.

Hi Chris, try local contacts  I know local professionals that like to lend. With better terms than bankers

Hi! It’s a perfect place to invest and grow. Live also if you don’t mind the commute. If you’re a little handy and came come up once in a while property management shouldn’t be needed. Especially if you want to learn.

When is the coved real estate recession coming ? 2021?

I know of a lot of investors feeling the covid pain. Tenants not paying rent but still have a mortgage and bills. A lot of college rentals really are hurting. Commercial owners taking a beating.

A lot of the after Covid buying rush in many areas is coming to an end.

What’s everyone’s take? How’s your market looking?

Hi! I remember the big brain economist in 2004 saying we are in 17 year cycle and next peak will be 2021/22 then a crash. What’s everyone seeing out there in their markets?

Is it a good place to live? Affordable? Good place to invest?

Any other recommendation on a place in the south?

@Rashaun Forrest thanks for comment! I like condos. Less headaches. Fixed numbers. Those projects are good I think. Keep the values up. How’s the cash flow on stand alone units?
