@Martin Mace

Thanks. I read similar words to your in The ABCs of real estate investing.  I want to look at a real one and see if I can figure out what the actual numbers should be...as best as I can with available numbers.

Thanks @Kenneth Hester

 ...and @Josh Eitingon

I want to know more about multi-families even though I think my first investment will be a single family.  I'm finishing up reading The ABC's of real estate investing (great book) by Ken McElroy.  I want to see what I come up with in determining the values of different properties.  ...sort of like figuring out different math problems.  I'm working on my vocabulary too. Thanks again.

Hello all,

Is it proper to ask a broker to see the pro forma on a property?  I'm trying to understand the numbers associated with multi families and want to use real world examples.  I see a property on Loopnet that shows only partial numbers.  Is it as simple as asking or is that sort of information only sent to only true prospective buyers?

Thanks,

Art

Thanks for sharing this. To someone like me that's new to REI, this further makes the point that I now realize that there are so many opportunities to choose from and study. The podcast in the link was very informative.

@Dmitriy Fomichenko,

Thanks for taking the time the share the information. I'm amazed at how much info is included on this site. I'm almost through the Ultimate guide. I plan on taking the advice my REI approach.

Thanks again,

Art
