Thanks for the reply. So you have someone live there rent free and have them take care/oversee the property?

Hi BP!I

I want to scale rather than buying SFH by purchasing mobile home parks. Here's the question I have... are their mobile park rental management companies? How can I manage them passively?

@ Philip Suarez, can you discuss where you think those areas may be? I am also trying to invest in the Triangle and the surrounding areas.

That's a great advise @Andriy Boychuk! It is in one of the fastest growing areas in NC and they may NOT want a mobile home on one of its busiest streets.

Post: To Hold or to Flip?

Good morning Bigger Pockets!

I've reached out to Dale Hensel, who was incredibly generous with his time.

He said to read and to decide on a strategy of investment.

Hold makes so much more sense to me -- tax benefits, paying down mortgage, long term investments, etc. So I spent some time thinking about the reason why people flip yesterday: Is the reason why people flip is the cash? and having the house out of your hands?

Are you a flipper or are you a holder? Or a combination of both? Why do you do what you do?

That's really helpful. Whats usually the cost to tear down a single wide and throw it in a dumpster? And do you recommend a place to buy a used mobile home?

hello BP world,

I am a beginner investor. I saw a very run down single wide on a very desirable piece of land. The trailer was in complete disrepair. There were ton of junk in the yard too. Is this worth taking on?

Can people weigh in on mobile homes versus value of the property?
