I like Huckabee's ideas too, but I just don't see how it could ever work, for many reasons.

1. He'd have to get bills passed to make this law go into effect. Is there going to be a period of time in which there are income/capital gains/corporate/death taxes AND this value added tax? How much time?

2. What is he gets the value added tax into law, but can't get the other taxes eliminated? What happens then? Are we just paying out the a** for things?

3. Let's say he does get the fair tax in and eliminates the other taxes. What is stopping a future president from bringing back income taxes and other taxes ON TOP of current taxes?? We'd be screwed!

4. Big One. What is going to happen to the IRS and all those employees? What about tax accountants? CPA's, auditors, employees for those compainies? H&R Block, Jackson Prewitt, Ernst & Young? All these people and business stands to lose everything.

On paper I think it's a great idea, but I'd be willing to bet if Huckabee does get elected that his fair tax plan will never become law.

one more quick question,

you said that you advertised the home yourself without listing it. What all did you do? How much did it wind up costing, if anything?

thanks!

I keep it very clean

everyone is saying it's a buyer's market

Feds cut interest rates 3/4 points today in an emergency move to help the economy.

I'm even considering jumping into a deal or two soon to try and take advantage of this!

The shakiness of the home video camera caused me and my friends to get dizzy and nautious 30min into the film.

just from a logical standpoint it is stupid. During winter time if you cut off the heat and your water pipes burst? A late rent payments seems like a small price to pay in comparison

yea too bad for them!

Well spending a few hundred bucks to rent some nice furniture and make the house look great is well worth the investment, and you just proved it. Congratulations again!
