Hi BP!

I recently passed the course pre-requisites. I submitted my application but realized it's only for the exam. I want to expedite the process as much as possible, so I was considering submitting my license application before taking the exam. The website says not to submit two applications as it might delay the processing, and getting in touch with BRE is nearly impossible. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this and could provide some guidance.

Thanks!

Antonio

Hey everyone,

I'm an investor working in Baltimore and plan to move to Southern California in a few months. I am writing because I will be in Orange County for a few days between 2/16-2/20 and would love the chance to connect with rehabbers and wholesalers in the area to get a better understanding of the market. If anyone would like to be treated to lunch, please don't hesitate to PM me!

Best,

Antonio

@Jonathan Greene that's a great point, so you mean having a turn-key operation with management as part of the package? Do you have experience with this kind of model?

Hey BP community!

I am looking to mastermind with other investor focused agents who do 100+ investor deals a year. We are an investor focused team in MD and are looking to grow and have considered some ideas for potential business models. For example, we have considered approaching it from a investment consultant angle where we provide a tailored service for a small number of clients that can handle volume, which we would work with exclusively and who provide an elite product, rather than an extensive buyer list filled with investors who are less serious. Has anyone had success with a similar model or does anyone use a different model which has been scaleable and effective?

Any and all suggestions are much appreciated!

Cheers,

Antonio

Thank you!

@Nick Hedberg

Thank you for the offer, I would be delighted to meet up! I neglected to mention in my original post that I will be in town briefly between 6/15 and 6/18, hopefully we can connect then.

@Ali Boone

@Ali Boone

That's a good point. My experience is relatively limited so far so I am open to multiple strategies, but would like to target value add opportunities rather than turn-key type deals. My goal is to have a clearer idea of what the market in LA is like in order to refine my strategy. Like I mentioned above, I will be in town in June so would appreciate the chance to meet up then!

Greetings LA Biggerpockets Community,

I am currently beginning my real estate investing journey on the East Coast, and have plans to move out west to LA in August. I have developed some ideas on how this might work, but would welcome the chance to connect with anyone currently involved in the LA real estate scene to refine my plans and get some insight into the market out there. Feel free to ask any questions. Cheers!
