Looking at buying a suspected foreclosed home. Looked on the county assessor site at it shows that federal national mortgage association owns it also says attn ditech financial. Was wondering if anyone has been proactive in calling a company like this to inquire about buying.

So I am trying to acquire a property out of state, home is being foreclosed and when I look up the owners info on google most of the stuff that pops up is obituary related. Listing states that it is occupied but the info I have gathered seems correct for the owner passing away. How should I go about this.

No you want to be in a buyers market
