Have you thought of investing in holiday rental properties Dubai ?

As far as investing into other countries, I would really make sure you fully understand the laws and government structure. I'd love to invest in places like Thailand, Philippines, China, etc, but I do not know the laws (that well) and definitely do not trust the governments. Communist countries, or other countries without a very stable gov, could take your property at any time and probably very little you could do about it. On top of this, some of these countries make it so difficult for foreigners to invest in real estate that to me, its just not worth it. Besides, why would I want to invest somewhere that really doesn't want my money anyways? For me, I'll keep my money in the USA.

I know other people in China who have the opposite view of me and thats fine. But asset protection is one of my top priorities. I'm sure there are success stories about investing in Asia or other parts of the world, but I've also heard a lot of horror stories. Seems like success is more of who you are connected to with people in power in these countries. Its just not for me.

I'm able to invest in the US from China. Its slightly more difficult being on the other side of the world, but better than wondering if I will have my property confiscated at some point.

TAs a fact, Dubai had a total number of 19.5million international travelers visiting in the first half of 2019 (Jan-June). And this number keeps increasing, as a result the demand for short holiday rentals keeps outweighing the supply

This makes the property market the best venture in Dubai second to only tourism

There is a guaranteed 25% ROI yearly on holiday rental properties, tax-free.

Have you managed to make your first purchase now Ema?
