Hi all, thanks for all your insights. They have been helpful. Currently, I have only been purchasing smaller investment properties, but this year my goal is to purchase an apartment complex 40+ units and am trying to determine a target market, which ideally would be Pittsburgh. I personally think it is a great market and especially has been for me for smaller properties, but wanted to have some data to help investors feel more comfortable if needed. Thanks again!

Hi all, I am trying to do some market analysis on different locations but am struggling on where to find this information, such as job markets, job growth, population growth, etc. I have tried different searches but can't seem to find a good website to get this information. Any suggestions on which websites/tools to use? Thank you!

I am looking for my first house hacking property and I believe I found one a duplex that will work. The property has a  septic tank and I was hoping to get some information on the pros/cons of it. I do not know how old it is but I am getting that question answered.

Hi all, 

I have been rehabbing a SFH in Bethel Park and am finally almost finished. The last thing I need done is a basement bathroom to be updated with a basic shower pan/walls. Ideally, I would like this done by end of month, but I know that is a tight timeline. Estimating it to be a 1/2 day job so hoping someone can squeeze me in. The basement was taking on water so the studs needed to be replaced. I have removed the existing shower and studs, so all that needs done is framing the walls and installing the shower pan/walls. Please let me know if anyone knows a good contractor or is a contractor themselves who could do the work.

Hi all, 

I am located in Pittsburgh and am in the process of rehabbing a SFH to turn into a rental property. I am adding a wall to make another bedroom and adding some electric to existing bedrooms. I have a friend who is a union electrician do the electric work. Do I need to have the electric inspected or anything? I have tried to do some research but haven't been successful in finding an answer yet.
