Adding bedroom with no closet

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding listing how many bedrooms for a rental property. I am adding a bedroom to a SFH and was not planning on having a closet for it. Whenever listing the property to rent, can I still list it as a bedroom without a closet?

@Anthony Greco, to be used as a bedroom you generally only need proper egress. For example a window on a 2nd floor bedroom to escape through during a fire and a minimum number of square feet. I don't believe a closet is mandatory.

However, I would add one if I could. I recently had a house with 2 small bedrooms that had no closets and because the rooms were already small and I didn't want to build traditional closets, I built this as a solution.

An open "closet" with a small dresser set inside with a hanging bar over it. I also added a built in desk with a task light and shelf. I feel this made VERY efficient use of space in a small room and for a similar cost to building a traditional closet gave me a superior result in terms of how the room functions.
