My husband and I have searched, called, interviewed... and still can’t find a CPA that meets our needs. We are a military family with three investment properties and hopes of flipping soon. The CPA we finally found last year charged us $1,200 to do our taxes and my husband had to re-do them because she missed things. Help! Who do you trust?

Our offer was just accepted on our first flip in 12 years! We bought in during the bubble and were scared away after. We own three rental properties. We want tot do a flip near us in Memphis. We just had our offer accepted and we get to work soon! What are your best tips, tricks, things to remember or things you wish you knew?

We own a rental in Cordova. I personally don’t go below 1%. In 10 years, I doubt this area will appreciate much. You home will start needing new appliances and things will wear out. And yet, you’ll still be getting about the same amount in rent.

Ben Roberts I’m interested to know the address... I think it’s sounds sketchy too. When someone is ready to drop 1/3 the price, something is desperate. We own thee rentals in the Memphis suburbs, but are exploring the city.

I didn’t have a specific property in mind when I asked, just trying to understand the listings. I did call on one, it was a bank number. I never got a call back after many messages...

We are drawing up a new lease.  I want to clearly lay out the process if they do not pay on time.

I have heard many people on Bigger Pockets, but perhaps they are from another state.

Step by step, what should I do when I have not received rent by close of business on the 1st of the month?

I am looking for a CPA that gets what we do.  I have called quite a few and settled on one, The Marston Group, but they don't work with family real estate investors, specifically with military exemptions enough to truly understand our needs.

Does anyone have a great recommendation?
