I'm still in the "rinse" cycle of "wash, rinse, repeat'. Once I get through this title issue on my MA REO, I can finally clear the sale, then repeat with more notes. Hoping to take advantage of this sellers market. Unfortunately, in notes you have to depend on others to complete things like quit claim deeds, providing documents, lawyers, courts, etc. Everybody is moving in slow motion it seems...not worried about my little assets. lol

For now, being newer to the space I err on the side of caution and compliance, so I avoid those states that require licenses until and/when I get to the point where I need to focus on getting a license to broaden my portfolio. 
It would be my luck to buy one in GA, OH or other required state and get hemmed up for not having one. lol

Good question @Sean Mcintire.

Now I'm wondering if I still need to register when I have a home for sale under my LLC? It was a note I bought in MA that was a lease option, now for sale (non occupied). I have it listed with a realtor, but did not consider registering a foreign entity...

@Dana Yobst, If you go to NETRonline.com you can look up the property with the county. There is a search function which will give it you based on the zip code converter or state, from there it will link you to the public information on the county site (if they have one).
