@Rudy Ramirez I'm working in the same area as you. Unfortunately, I haven't found any of the REIA groups as far west as we are. There are groups for the south-side, north-side, & central suburbs, but not out by us.

@Gabriel Velasquez Welcome to BP!  I agree about the podcasts.  Start listening to those if you haven't already.  I also recommend looking into some of the real estate books referenced at the end of the podcasts.  Below is a link to a forum post listing the books mentioned during the interviews.

@Collin Vosburgh First of all, welcome to BP!  It is a great community to learn & network.

Second, I would suggest finding a REIA group that you can attend. I know there are several in the Chicago area and they are great places to meet other investors and to learn.

Finally, if you haven't already, setup some keyword alerts on BP to keep you notified when people are discussing a topic or an area that you have an interest in.

@Trassa Oliver Welcome to BP!  It really is a great place for networking & learning.  I'm not a wholesaler, but I have heard it discussed enough to know that you're going to have to get your marketing strategy going to start bringing in the deals.  If you find a property that is truly a deal, you shouldn't have a problem finding an investor to buy it.  Good luck!
