Post: Cincinnati and Dayton Ohio Investing

Hi All! I'm an investor from Spokane Washington and I currently have one multi family unit in my area. However I'm looking to invest in the Cincinnati markets or the Dayton Ohio markets and I'm looking for some advice.

1) Are multi family properties heavily sought after in these markets?

2) Do tenants lean toward single family homes or the multi family? It seems to me that affordability is really good in that area so I can't imagine why a prospective tenant wouldn't lean more toward a single family.

3) Go to property managers/Contractors

4) Who are the Go-To Wholesalers?

5) Who are the Go-To Real estate agents for investors?

Thank you!

@Lance Hebert as @Kelly Clark has stated, i'm a house hacker and investor in Spokane. I also happen to be a realtor and I know the local market well. I'd be happy to chat on the phone or meet you for coffee if and when you make your way over here!

I'm a local realtor in the area/investor and I have a massive vendor directory list that I can share. I have plumbers, roofers, electricians, GC's and more. Not sure if the list has already been generated, but I can certainly add to it!

Right. That's what I'm thinking. So you're saying it's not a feasible probability to be able to take equity out of a 30 year mortgage and have enough after 18 years to help your kids college?

What's the strategy for buying a property and renting it out to build equity, and then using that equity to fund your kids college tuition? I watched one of Brandon's videos on it and now I can't find it. Any insight would be awesome! Thank you!

Thank you! Would a 15year loan be best? Or would it be best to keep it to 30 years and then take the equity out or refinance?

Thank you!

I'm very new to bigger pockets but i'm very interested in the concept of buying a property to hold for 18 years and then using the equity to pay for college tuition down the road. Can anyone give me some clarity into this process?
