It's a money pit. I'm actually having issues now in a D class neighborhood. The hardest part is having all your money tied up. If this thread was created 1 year ago, I would've ran the other way.

I would suggest networking with investors on BP. It's a ton of investors, that could benefit from your services in your area. Do you buy and hold, or flip properties? Or both? It all depends on your goals and niche. You're already a few steps ahead of the game with financial backing. That's huge!

I got rid of my Mercedes for a Camry. Best decision I ever made. I was able to invest in a duplex because of my frugality.
