My question is where can I find an attorney experienced in NV tax deed investing who has an office in Las Vegas. I need a real face to face consultation with an expert, not google.

Anyone have a connect with a tax sale expert/attorney in Nevada? I don't want to spend money paying someone with zero knowledge (reading verbatim from book, never bought anything).

I have 2 questions maybe I can get some answers

In case I bought a tax deed (actual deed - not certificate).

answers:

1. What needs to be done in order to take lawful possession of the property in case it is vacant? (Besides changing the locks)

2. What needs to be done in order to take lawful possession in case the property is occupied?

Kind Regards,

Mario

In both cases you would just file an ejectment.  Do not spend money changing locks until you are granted possession.

Y'all could do A LOT in BESSEMER with $17,000. 10 grand could buy a SFH and y'all together could spend some weekends with a case of beer and rehab it yourself.

Greg is a lifesaver & I've used him to escrow/close deals with tax certs & deeds. Its makes things so much easier and puts my out of state & international buyers at ease knowing that the transaction is being handled by an attorney.

It's so many rookies in Bham doing weird things with folks money.

Y'all they are so behind on processing BPOs because so many applications have flooded the system + you have idiots who put in a BPO and don't even buy them, wasting the tax offices time. Now you may not even get a response till next year.

The 3 year redemption clock does not start until the day you buy the property.  There are methods to speed this up such as contacting the previous owner and negotiating with them to sign the property over immediately.

What if it is/was being used as a boarding home (assessed as a multifamily dwelling)?
