You can definitely use Solo 401k money to participate in syndication deals. Just make sure the sponsor is trustworthy and the deal works!

You can also buy and hold properties under your Solo 401K

@Anton Ivanov Thanks for sharing and taking time to answer questions.

I also live in SOCAL and invest out of state.  I have challenges with property management.

Could you kindly share your criteria for picking PM, and a system for keeping them accountable?

Personally I feel comfortable with leverage, especially when 1.you can get great terms with VA loan, 2 you're still very young, 3 earning high salary with side income 4.Properties cash flow well

Everyone has different tolerance of risk. It's critical to choose a strategy that works for him.

Coin operated beverage machines

I'd love to find out more about the storage area. Has anyone done that?

There's a small unit in our apartment building, no kitchen. I wonder if I could turn it into storage. If so, how?

any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

Post: Help! rehab delayed 4 months already

Our contractor was doing well with our SFH. So we continued to use her for our apartment building rehab. The contract sets 180 days for completion. Things seemed to go well at first then started to slow down due to utility problems. It's been almost 4 months past the expected completion date. Still not finished! We're told another month is needed!

How long does it usually take to get all utilities set? (inspection, meter etc for electricity, gas, water)

I can't believe 5 months delay for this project when we were told it's 6 months' renovation. What shall I do? Help.  Thanks
