@Rochelle Thea Fabrizio Hi Rochelle.  wow, I never thought to just practice on a table. What a great idea.  One of my sons is very good at building things and I'm sure he would love to help me.  I'll see if I can get some cheap tile. Yes, I'm really interested in seeing the rewards of my work.  Thank you so much!  You all are giving me great ideas.

@Jerry Lucker  Thanks Jerry.  I plan to do just that.  I always see them advertised but never been.  Time to get out there!

@Sean McKenna Thanks for the advice Sean.  I actually have a guy coming over Friday to give me an estimate on remodeling my basement and attic.  I am hoping he will teach me a thing or two when he gets started!   Figure might as well start with my own home.

@Curtis Mears  I think I would enjoy doing that.  You reminded me my company sponsors those types of volunteering events.  I will look into that for sure.  Might be something great to do with my kids too.  Thanks.

@Latasha Griffin Thats awesome Latasha!  I wish you the best of luck with that quadplex.  That would be a great starter property in my opinion.  I, too, thought of either becoming a real estate again OR someone who can do odds projects around a home just to get my foot in the door of rehabbing.  Its very hard with me having a full-time job and a family (plus being a single mom) that keeps me busy.  Please keep me posted on your progress.  I would love to hear about it.

@David Sisson Funny you say this.  I am actually considering either painting or restaining my kitchen cabinets as a test.   Thanks!   Good idea.

@Ryan Evans  Hi Ryan.  I just checked out that YouTube channel you mentioned and watched the one on installing Ikea Cabinets.  I'm thinking this would be good for my own home!  I do want new cabinets and want to finish our basement and attic.  Thanks for the recommendation!
