Post: Silent Listing Agent

After a few strike outs, I've finally found a realtor who is young, but already working with other investors, really responsive, and actually has a passion for real estate.

We've run into a situation where the listing agent for a house has yet to respond to questions I submitted through my realtor. It's been over a week now. What can I do to get the information I need? The agent doesn't appear to be on vacation and I'm sure they are really busy, but I need this information. I'm working on lining up funding and I would like to put an offer in, but how do I do so, if they aren't responding?

On a side note, this agent is related to the seller. But this doesn't necessarily negate their fiduciary responsibilities to their client, does it?

Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you.

Greetings!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Amber Kramer and I'm a new investor in the Mid-Michigan area.

I currently own my primary residence that I purchased more than 12 years ago and I'm hoping to start investing in my area. I've been listening to the BiggerPockets podcasts and researching various real estate investment topics, but I feel like this is only the tip of the iceberg.

I'm currently searching for my first SFR. I work full time as a corporate accountant and that most likely won't change anytime soon. I do enjoy programming on the side, which is self taught, but I would be more than happy to share that skillset as needed.

I'm looking forward to networking with you all.  Thanks!
