@Ellis Hammond do you know any people that have bought properties in Joshua Tree? I know that when I was looking at properties for airbnb that Joshua tree was mentioned as a great location. I know properties there are reasonable.

@Ryan Kirk I am also looking to buy some property in Hamilton, as I hear it is a great market that will likely grow as people get pushed out of the Toronto market. Could you give some tips on potential areas that you found have reasonable priced homes with potential for long term growth?

Thanks Ellis for the tips!

I actually think I will only buy a one or two properties here and then buy in the US. I've been to San Diego...it's such an amazing city...how is the market there? Toronto market is untouchable...but the surrounding cities have some good opportunities.

Hi Marlon,

Thanks for the response. I have already started listening to the podcasts, they are great!

I will check out the other things you mentioned.

The meet option requires a pro membership?

Thanks!

Hi guys,

My name is Alon, I currently live in Toronto, Canada. I am looking to start out in real estate investing and am excited to join the community and interact with other members. I am hoping to purchase some rental properties and create some passive income with the hopes of financial freedom.

I know this is an American based real estate site, but I am hoping that I may find some folks that are purchasing properties in Canada, although I plan to purchase some real estates in the US as well.

Hoping to start out small - single family homes and then move to small apartment buildings to build some decent income.
