And you are right just strategizing itself isn't too good. I often find myself in analysis paralysis instead of trying things and failing

Thanks for the advice. Some of it unnecessarily dramatic but I will accept it anyways. I am looking for jobs and trying to find a place to live but I am struggling to commit to the right place to be

You don't think it's better to spend time strategizing then mindlessly bussing tables

@Account Closed What I am saying is I have tried working those ****** jobs and did not find it helpful in exceling my career

@Robert Herrera That is inspiring to hear. How do I find a job selling cars? Like at Carmax? I do need more experience. I spend a lot of time researching and looking into things but its useless without experience. How did you get to own an oil company? Is it in Denver? I have a geo degree from CU-Boulder..

I am bad at spending money and I have never been able to hold these jobs for very long so there are a lot of gaps which I'm not making money

@Cody L. You write like I have never experienced such a thing as a ****** job. I have worked in landscaping mowing lawns, babysitting, measuring rocks, busing tables, working at a cash register, measuring trees, hauling rocks, trimming bamboo. I have done unpaid work bringing towels to physical therapists, at the help desk at a public library. I simply have had enough of these menial activities and am looking for something more. I am not interested in these jobs.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. Thanks. $30,000 a month on marketing? That is nearly $400,000 a year! If you are a RE agent spending that much money on marketing every month, what are the demands to exceed that expenditure? How many properties must you sell or flip? If you are a real estate agent with a license do you typically work for a larger firm to start with then once you have experience then you can work for yourself? But you have to have a track record and clientele I imagine?

@Steve K. I also have an interest in engineering since I started off as an engineering major at uni of Colorado

@Steve K. Why are you sorry for getting involved? I appreciate your comments and would be happy to learn more about your career experiences. I also am interested iin the energy sector have been talking to a owner at a small solar business in San Diego.

@Cornelius

@Cornelius Charles You are probably right. I don't have a good work ethic. But I also don't feel that I have opportunities right now that worth having a good work ethic for. If I had a well paying job or a job that would lead to opportunities that help my career then I would probably work hard for it. But, like a 78 year told me the other day, I shoudl go get a job at McDonalds. I won't and won't ever have a worth ethic for that.  Certainly, its not helping my situation that I am unwilling to demonstrate a worth ethic at such opportunities.
