Hello @Anthony Marable. Did you end up finding a source for vacant property info?

I'm looking for the same and have come across hoavacantlists.com and mailinglist.org. Also, thewholesalerstoolbox.com has a link to another affiliate that provides such info but requires a subscription. Have you tried any of those?

@Eddie Rodriguez @Account Closed Hi guys. I was looking for the same info and found the following helpful posts on BP. TLO seems to be pretty popular. Lead Sherpa was also mentioned. Some BP members offer skip tracing services such as Tony Battle with Skipleader. Here are some links for your reference:

Post: Has anyone dealt with JB Commercial Funding LLC, Livingston, NJ

Hello BP, I received a cold call from JB Commercial Funding pitching their services. They seemed to have specific info such as rental property address, entity name, ownership, cell phone #, etc. I searched BP but was unable to find info threads discussing this company. Online information is quite limited as well. Their name is nearly identical to another entity in KY (except for entity type, Inc. instead of LLC). Looking for any info, knowledge of, or experience with the NJ outfit, good or bad. Thanks.

@J Chad Davis can't go wrong in mid-county. Just stay in NISD & PNGISD, but you already know this I suppose.

@Gordon F. you ask very valid questions. I'm like you, detail oriented and want to learn more of the "nut and bolts" so to speak. One option for you to consider is to connect with an experienced note investor and JV on a couple of deals to learn more of the "how to" details.

Also, @Scott Carson has a 3-day virtual note workshop coming up soon (Nov 30- Dec 2). You might consider attending. Check out We Close Notes web site for more info.

Of course there are numerous articles here on BP and YouTube videos that are worth reading/viewing as well as several other note investors who offer educational material.

@Michael Didion i second Bob's book recommendation. I've read several books and Paper Profits is one of the better ones. Also, check out books by Martin Saenz on Amazon.

@Thomas Clinch Scott Carson is great indeed. You can also reach out to Joshua Andrews, author of Paper Profits, another very good introductory book on note investing (buy from Amazon or get a free copy at https://notablefund.com/). Josh is based in Austin as well.

@Vikas Raoot check out Parigi Property Management located on 14th Street in Beaumont. Years ago I was a tenant at one of the properties they managed. I was quite pleased. As a landlord, I would consider hiring them. but most of my properties are outside Beaumont. PPM are strong and well know in the MF residential and commercial space here. Their fees are reasonable and their service is good. They have been at this for a long time.
