Hey guys!

My name is Alex, I'm an foreign flip investor and I'm interested in establishing a relationship with any flipper in and around the city of Cleveland, OH.

Right now i'm on my active looking after the properties on the market as well as buiding a local team. In a short term I would like to get a few answers about some details from a people having deals done. In a future there is possibility to share team members, recources, recomendations or maybe RE investors, who knows? I'm open to every interesting suggestion, this is Real Estate and here only the sky is the limit :)

Here is just my 5 cents:

1. You should always do YOUR OWN due dilligence on every property in US you looking at.

2. You should NEVER believe to anyone promising you "garanteed return". Every RE investment is a risky business and there is never a garanteed return.

Welcome to the BP community.

It's great you looking where to invest in your age. Try not to think you are too young or unexpirienced. Everyone starts from the begginning and if you starting in your age - the sky is the limit :)

In my opinion the most important thing about investing in US from abroad is education and understanding of what actually are you doing. Pay attention there are companies in Israel that sell a houses for israelis. If you decide to go on deal with them, remember you have to do your own due diligence on a properties.

That's absolutely great you started thinking about financial freedom at your age.

Remote investing in US is definetly possible but its comes with a risk and you need to know what exactly you do.

I advice you first to spend your time on education, and BP is great platpform to get it.

Hello BP community!!

My name is Alex Khodnev, I am an Industrial engeneer from Israel. SInce a last few years I have a dream to invest in real estate in US.

Last year I took a class about investing and started reading BP forums and listening to a podcasts. Now it feels me a right time to act :) 

My plan is start a RE business based on fix and flip strategy focused on Cleveland OH metro. My short term goals are:

1. Make a research about Cleveland Metro. Understand about where is the areas with good schools district and reasonable crime ratio. Generally there should be a SFH built at 80's and older, ARV around 100-150K, mostly owner occupied.

2. Connect with a local wholesalers and RE agents expirienced with flip investors, and get on their mailing list.

3. Recieve a recommentions about few local general contractors for future rehab.

4. Keep listeting to PB podcasts and learn more.

5. NETWORKING.
