Anyone interested in mentoring some new who is looking to break into the anchorage market? I have read many books and watched many webinars, while obtaining a BA degree in real estate. My biggest question is whether or not I need a real estate license to avoid any "broker" like actions? Alaska business website does not really answer my question.

Hello ak

I am currently looking for a mentor to help me break into the anchorage market. Any tips or suggestions for where to start looking? As an investor is it important to obtain a real estate license first to avoid "broker" like actions when making a deal? Thanks for any input.
