Jenna Crye Thanks! Is there a way I can message you? Doesn't seem to be a way through my phone app.

Thanks for the wealth of info everyone! I didn't even think about using the word "mentor" as a less desirable term of choice. Good call. I will certainly make use it all.

Go for it man. I can share my story to maybe help give some insight. When I graduated high school, I never had any plans to go to college. I already owned a detailing business pulling in almost 6 figures and my father had a couple of properties in which were already being rented out. Basically, after I graduated and found out about bigger pockets and of course with help from my father, I bought my first duplex. House hacked it and went from there. Aside from the small complications, it really was THAT simple. Now I'm 24, still learning, but pulling in ridiculous bank. I say this because, as mentioned up top, you're young and you want to take advantage of it while it's here. I had/have time to mess up and learn and adjust with little penalty. Oh and I'm also In college for a double major in civil engineering and philosophy(I love philosophy and want to publish in the field and I love applied physics). From a family of entrepreneurs I'm the first to go to college. Lol. Good luck man!

Anyone have a reference to where I can learn more about "notes"? I have no clue what that is lol

I think that in my current market its difficult to find units that have an excess of availability as similar to yours. Right now i'm currently investing, primarily into multiplex properties. Its hard to fathom millions haha. At least in the nature of which you have achieved. Very inspiring and I hope to see the returns you have made as well.

Also, how many property managers are you currently handling?

Wow. Thanks guys. I really appreciate the info. Credit has always been something so confusing to me and I hate we never really learned about it in school haha. Aside from not taking on new debt, I suppose signing up for credit karma is a good idea as well. If push comes to shove for her(and me if I need it one day) then getting an account with credit nerd or whatever would be good to wipe off debts. At least the ones they can.

I have one more question though. We both do have student loans but are both still in college so we don't have to pay them back just yet. I've paid a little on mine but not consistently since it hasn't been mandatory yet(I'm a civil engineer major btw). It's not a huge amount but either way it still shows on my credit report when I look at it. Just because it shows, does that mean it's being negatively effected?? My friend has some too so if so it could be an issue for both of us. It's not really anything we can get rid of any time soon though. I mean we aren't behind or defaulted or whatever but yea. I'm a little unclear on that.
