Thanks so much for the responses. I am so excited about this! I have a local REIA meeting tonight with the subject to kings and queens. I am really looking forward to it.

Hello BP! I am a newbie and I actually have been hanging out on BP for a while now I just haven't been active on the site. I have listened to countless podcast and I read anything that's real estate investing related. My goal is to network and learn all that I can about the business. My husband and I are eager to pull the trigger. I want to buy and hold mostly fixer uppers but not do the traditional renters but more of renting to buy for individuals who cant currently qualify for a loan but dreamed of being a home owner. My husband is interested in Property Management so I'm thinking of getting my real estate license (again). I look forward in being more active on BP and learning as much as I can..

Thank you for the reply. I'm glad to be here!! The person on the tax record is the one that moved to Jordan. I have another that is own by ny Mellon bank no idea on that one either. On houses to sell, we have 2 but need to 're-think the asking price. We partnered with another investor that has been sitting on these properties. Once rehabed they would make great rentals

Hello everyone I am a beginning investor in the Indianapolis area. I have found a few vacant nice houses in my area. I researched as much as I knew how on my own and got the homeowners name. I looked online to see if there was a number and I found one. I called it and it was someone else that told me they sold them that business 7 years ago and that the owner moved to Jordan. I asked them if they knew anything about the property but no luck. I'm stuck now and don't know where else to look. I have little money so a skip tracer or PI is not in my budget. I feel like I should just move on but it's 5 houses owned by the same person and I want them. Should I just cut my loses and move on. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Oh and also we partnered with another investor that had a couple of properties that need rehab I think there over priced for the work that needs to be done bit my fiance is wanting to do something with them. Help...
