You can definitely flip HUD homes in Maryland, HUD don't care what you do with the home you just have to buy it from them first and sell it back to an investor using transactional funding. Make sure its open to investors and you will have to make sure you are buying at the right price since you will be double closing which involves tow sets of closing cost fees. I would suggest you have a buyer/buyers line up first because you will loose your earnest money is you can buy the property, I believe that under 50k $500 deposit and over its $1000 deposit.

Hi @Uri Robinson Welcome to BP.

I think you have to know your financial number whether its 3k or 20k a month like Doug mentioned. It also depends on which part of the country you live, your living expense and life style. 3k a month might work for a family of 6 living in one part of the country, while 3k would not be enough for an family of 3 living in a another part.

Welcome to BP @Latoya Holmes this is a great site for learning about investing in real estate, lots of great imformation on about everything to do with investing in real estate.

wow  great story and congrats on your success. I always believe that real estate is the best investment tool out there to acquire. As I read your post I see myself doing the same thing in the next couple of years, my desire is to retire at age 50 I'm now 35 and real estate will get me there. I have been listening to a lot of Robert Kiyosaki stuff and like you said change your reality and your life will change. Most people read these success stores but if its not part of your realty you will never achieve such success, as Robert Kiyosaki said money don't make you rich its your desire and mindset.
